This document describes how Botrabou.com intends to handle personal data. It is an operational policy for launch and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel for Curaçao before being treated as a final legal instrument.

1. Our commitment

Botrabou.com aims to create a respectful, inclusive and safe environment for young people. Safety takes priority over speed of placement or commercial benefit.

2. Age-appropriate opportunities

We consider age, working hours, supervision, location, duties and safety before recommending an opportunity to a person under 18. Work that is prohibited, dangerous, exploitative or unsuitable for the applicant’s age will not be accepted.

3. Contact with applicants under 18

Parent or guardian confirmation is required before placement consideration for applicants aged 15–17. Initial contact and meeting arrangements should pass through Botrabou.com or follow an approved process.

A business or facilitator must not arrange a secret or inappropriate meeting with a minor. Meetings should occur in a professional, appropriate location or approved online setting. Only necessary information should be shared.

4. Business and facilitator conduct

Communicate professionally, provide appropriate supervision, follow youth-employment, safety and equality rules, never request money from an applicant as a condition of getting a job, never ask for passwords, verification codes or bank-login information, avoid private or inappropriate communication with minors, report a safety concern promptly, and cooperate with reasonable checks.

5. Equal opportunity

Applicants should be assessed using relevant criteria such as skills, education, experience, motivation, availability and lawful job requirements. Botrabou.com does not support unlawful discrimination, harassment or exclusion based on an irrelevant personal characteristic.

Gender is optional on the registration form and must not be used to rank or reject a candidate. Profile photos are optional and should not replace fair job-related assessment.

6. Reporting a concern

Report suspicious, discriminatory, unsafe or inappropriate conduct through the Report a Concern page, or email botrabou@thompsii.com. Botrabou.com may pause contact, preserve relevant records, restrict an account and refer a matter to an appropriate authority where necessary.

7. No retaliation

No user should be punished by Botrabou.com for making a genuine safety complaint or participating honestly in a review.
